The Iconic Juicy Couture Track Suit Is Going To Be Memorialized Forever In A Museum

The Juicy Couture track suit was a wardrobe staple in the early 2000s. If you didn’t own the complete outfit, you definitely at least had the jacket. It was either velour (#luxury) or terrycloth and it had the word “Juicy” embroidered on the back or butt (or both).

We would walk around thinking we were hot shit with our track suits and Motorola Razr phone (or Sidekick, if your parents loved you enough), wishing we had a tiny little Chihuahua in our purses to really complete the outfit, a la Paris Hilton. Female celebrities from 2003-2007 freaking loved the Juicy Couture track suit. If they were out running errands, they were in a pink tracksuit. If they were getting off a plane, they were in a blue track suit. If they were pumping gas, they were in a black track suit. If it was less than 50 degrees outside, they were wearing a track suit and Uggs.

God, I miss the early 2000s. It was such a comfortable time in fashion.

The Juicy Couture track suit is such an iconic moment in history that a museum in London is actually going to put it up on display. The Victoria and Albert Museum in London is launching a new exhibit in 2016 called ‘Undressed: A Brief History of Underwear’. The exhibit will feature none other than the iconic 2004 classic bubblegum pink Juicy Couture tracksuit, along with antique corsets, 18th century bloomers, and the sheer naked dress famously worn by Kate Moss in 1933.

This sounds like my kind of museum.
