Apparently, players are gonna play, play, play, play, play, but Taylor Swift isn’t gonna let anyone play her. In an attempt to get ahead of her haters, pun absolutely intended, Taylor Swift registered for the domain name ITaughtTaylorSwiftHowToGiveHead.com. So if some idiot in Tay-Tay’s adolescent home of Tennessee wants to show the world what he taught the country/pop icon, sorry Charlie, but you’ll just have to swallow your pride and find some other way to humiliate her. (Seriously, sorry about the puns, but I can’t help myself.)
According to Domain Name Wire, a brand protection firm called MarkMonitor bought a bunch of Taylor Swift-related domains today on her behalf, including one that may have finally answered once and for all where T-Swizzle obtained her beej prowess, much to the chagrin of horny men everywhere.
This news comes (again with the puns!) hot on the heels of a lawsuit filed against Swift’s former guitar teacher Ronnie Cremer (that’s not even a pun, that’s his real last name) registering the domain name ITaughtTaylorSwift.com. Swift’s team demanded that Cremer take down the site, and threatened him with legal action if he did not.
“I almost feel like they were trying to bully me a little bit,” Cremer told The Daily News on Tuesday. “I’m not giving back the domain name. I mean, Go Daddy sold it to me.”
Well damn, seems like Taylor Swift is becoming quite the diva. However, I can absolutely appreciate and respect that the star is becoming very brand-conscious. Swift has always been very self-aware and even willing to poke fun at her own expense in the past, and despite her transition from a pop country artist into a straight-up popstar with the release of her “1989” album, she still appears to be her same open, honest and self-deprecating self. Case in point: Her “musical monologue” from her appearance hosting SNL in 2009.
This appears to be no different. Who knows, maybe she’ll actually use the website to open up an open, honest dialogue about her performing oral sex on various men. Which would be pretty sweet, nobody can deny that. You know you’d read it..
