New Disney Channel Original Movie Features Princesses' Children In High School Together

There was nothing I loved more growing up than a good Disney Channel Original Movie. “The Luck of the Irish”, “The Color Of Friendship”, “Smart House”, “Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century” (P.S. When is Protozoa going to make his first album?)–the list goes on and on.

Nothing, however, and I do mean nothing, is ever going to top the Disney Channel Original Movie that is currently in the works. “Descendants” is set to air in 2015, and Disney has just put out a casting call. Some backstory:

The teenage son of Prince Adam (Beast) and Belle has an order of business before he takes the throne. He wants to allow the children of Disney villains Jafar, Cruella, and Malificent to attend prep school with the children of our favorite princesses and heroes, including Mulan, Rapunzel, and Aurora. My mind just exploded. This will be a “live action” film, and if you see this ending in anything other than sheer awesomeness, I don’t want to know you…which is fine, because I probably don’t.

In any case, I don’t care that I’m too old to even babysit the audience this film is intended for. I will be tuning in, as well as counting down the days to its premiere.
