Although this season’s “Bachelorette” still has a few more episodes until Kaitlyn finally picks a man, producers and executives are already thinking about next season and who it will star. It should come as a major surprise to everyone that Khloe Kardashian is reportedly at the top of their list, especially since A) She’s technically still married to Lamar Odom and B) She’s recently been linked to NBA player James Harden. This could either be seriously entertaining or a major disaster. Or both.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, the Kardashian everyones forgets about has been offered $10 million for the coveted role. That’s a major chunk of change, but ABC executives are certain this next season of “Bachelorette” will be a “surefire hit” with Khloe at the center of it all. They aren’t wrong, either. I personally don’t watch “Bachelorette” because I don’t think watching an above average looking random go on a bunch of dates is particularly interesting. But the Kardashians can make anything entertaining, and I would definitely tune in to see some heated arguments between the eligible bachelors and Khloe’s many exes.
Aside from the possibility of finding true love, this would also be incredibly smart for Khloe’s career. She’s been riding on the coat tails of her sisters for too long, and this would be her opportunity to do something on her own. The paycheck isn’t bad, either.
Of course, this wouldn’t be just like every other season of “Bachelorette.” If the Kardashians are going to be putting their name on it, you know Kris Jenner will be heavily involved in the production. I doubt it will even look like the same “Bachelorette” most girls have come to love. And even if Khloe finds love, how do you top that? The series can’t possible one up themselves after having Khloe Kardashian as the bachelorette. Casting Khloe would be television suicide.
These are all just rumors at this point, but I know we’re all crossing our fingers hoping it’s true. Even if you hate the Kardashians, you can’t deny they make for great television. .
