French Schools Teach Their Students How To Give Orgasms

“Oh yeah, that was great,” you lie as you fall back onto the bed. He shuffles off to the bathroom and you reach for your phone on his cluttered nightstand.

“You’re amazing,” he shouts from the bathroom as the water gushes over the sound of his voice, “where did you learn to do that?”

“Obviously not where you learned to do that,” you murmur under your breath as you scroll through Instagram and try not to think about the orgasm that got away. Again.

It’s not that all guys are bad at sex. It’s not even that *most* guys are bad at sex. But, well, some of them are. And when you’re in bed with one of them, there’s nothing worse than staring at the ceiling and wondering why such a nice (or mediocre) guy has to be so lame in bed. Where do guys learn that they can just thrust a couple times and then call it a day? As he scampers back to the bed and kisses you full on the mouth, you wish more than anything that guys could take a class on how to get a girl off.

Turns out, the French are doing just that.

Recently a Paris-based researcher, Odile Fillod, created a 3-D printed model of a clitoris that can, and will, be used in both primary and secondary schools in France. The purpose of this is because, shockingly, no sex-ed classes really even talk about the clit except to be like “it exists.” This will be used to teach women about their bodies, teach people how they produce pleasure, and actually inform as opposed to just admit it exists and then never touch upon it again. Both figuratively and literally.

And in case you’re wondering what exactly it looks like, behold.

Yeah. I had no idea either. Because, you guessed it, we never learned about it in our sex classes. Thanks, America. Our man Odile spoke out to The Guardian with the details,

It’s important that women have a mental image of what is actually happening in their body when they’re stimulated. In understanding the key role of the clitoris, a woman can stop feeling shame, or [that she’s] abnormal if penile-vaginal intercourse doesn’t do the trick for her. It’s also vital to know that the equivalent of a penis in a woman is not a vagina, it’s her clitoris. Women get erections when they’re excited, only you can’t see them because most of the clitoris is internal. I wanted to show that men and women are not fundamentally different.

A-fucking-men. Obviously, it’ll take some time for these 3-D models to make their way to all of the schools, but it starts this September. And I for one hope that America is on the list of countries to get them into schools next. It’s time we stop feeling like assholes for not getting off when he puts it in. Three cheers for Odile Fillod, and if you’re ever in America, hit us up. I have a feeling you know your way around a vagina.
